Raised in rural Virginia, I grew up running through the woods and working on an organic flower farm. A love of nature, of color and visual stimulation eventually led to my discovery of design. Graphic design combines my passions of communication, visual art, and problem solving. I believe that design is a powerful tool that can be applied to any discipline or aspect of life. Equally vast are the sources of design inspiration. I draw creatively from art history, from fellow creative collaborators, but most of all, from my clients.

Every day, I am lucky to work with entrepreneurs taking bold steps in new initiatives and businesses.

We were looking for a clean, simple logo with a touch of playfulness. This led us to Gwen, where right from the start it was her goal to fully understand how we wanted Woody's Goodys to be perceived. After a few back-and-forth discussions, Gwen went to work and come back with several design options. We now have a brilliant logo that captures the perfect essence of our company.
